Debe estar registrado para votar en su dirección actual para poder votar en Virginia. Usted es elegible para votar en Arlington si actualmente vive en el condado de Arlington. Puede registrarse para votar en su lugar de votación a partir del día siguiente de la fecha límite de registro de votantes para cada elección. Gracias a la Ley de Derecho al Voto de Virginia aprobada en 2020 bajo una legislatura demócrata, puede registrarse por primera vez o actualizar su registro actual en el momento. VOTO POR CORREO
Le recomendamos que utilice nuestras opciones de votación flexibles para asegurarse de que su voz sea escuchada en cualquier Elección Primaria o General.
Para votar por correo, solicite una boleta de voto ausente a través del Portal del ciudadano de Virginia . Luego, la oficina electoral le enviará una boleta por correo a partir de 45 días antes de la elección para la que solicitó una boleta. You must be registered to vote at your current address. If you recently moved, we recommend you change your voter registration as soon as you can to make sure you’re eligible to vote in Arlington's upcoming elections.

Same-Day Voter Registration Is Here!
Begins October 16
Thanks to Democrats, Virginia enacted the 2020 Virginia Voting Rights Act. You are now allowed to register to vote at your polling place on Election Day or at an in-person early voting site, regardless of whether you're registering for the first time or updating your existing registration.
If you register same-day, you will fill out a Provisional Ballot, which means Arlington’s Electoral Board will adjudicate, or confirm, whether a ballot is valid the day after the Election. This gives the Elections Office time to process your eligibility to vote in that election. Find out more about Same-Day Voter Registration.

Our Voter Support and Festivals and Farmers Market teams run frequent voter registration drives throughout the year. Contact Voter Support or Festivals & Farmers Markets. We're happy to help you run your own drive or sign you up to help one of ours.
All of our voter registration volunteers are required to take the Virginia Voter Registration training. Once you have completed the training, you can sign up for a shift at voter registration drives on Mobilize.
GET YOUR VOTING RIGHTS RESTORED
The right to vote is essential to our democracy. We believe in restoring voting and other civil rights to formerly incarcerated people.
To have your voting rights restored, you must go through the Virginia Board of Elections instead of our local elections office.

2. Poll Observing / Voter Protection
Poll observers play a critical role in our democracy by making sure elections officers are following Virginia voting laws, procedures, and regulations.
