A Celebration of Those Who Serve a Vital Role during National Family Caregivers Month
Free health screenings, massages, and remarks by former Washington Redskins Player & Silver Spring Native Shawn Springs
There are approximately 43.5 million caregivers in the United States who dedicate themselves to providing support to their loved ones. Come, celebrate and recognize caregivers during National Family Caregivers Month with Capital Caring who will be hosting its first-ever Caregiver Expo on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia.
Remarks will be given by Nathan Baca, an investigative reporter with WJLA-TV 7 On Your Side, and former Washington Redskins player Shawn Springs. The Expo will include more than 50 community exhibitors offering important information for caregivers including valuable services, no-cost health screenings, and personal care services such as massages, free samples from area restaurants, and complimentary respite care upon request.
WHEN: Saturday, November 10, 2018 -- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
- 9:00 AM: Expo begins
