Arlington Democrats is excited to announce a timely and critical-to-Arlington County educational event that is open to the community. We invite everyone to attend and look forward to seeing you there.

Arlington Democrats' Business Outreach arm is convening a panel discussion on housing affordability with experts from non-profit and for-profit developers, and academia. The panel will cover local affordable housing challenges, the current Arlington County Affordable Housing Master Plan, and the recent Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments report, The Future of Housing in Greater Washington.

Panelists will provide perspective on their real-world experience implementing housing affordability plans in Arlington, successes and challenges, and policy recommendations in support of County goals. There will be an opportunity to ask questions following the panel discussion.

Mary Hynes, Moderator Former member of the Arlington County Board, School Board, and Community Activist

Holly Bray, Chairman, Arlington County Housing Committee, and Senior Director, Love Funding

Carmen Romero, Vice President for Real Estate Development, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH)

Brian Scull, Director of Commercial Development, Shooshan Company

Jeannette Chapman, Deputy Director and Senior Associate at the Fuller S. Institute, Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University
