School Board Endorsement Vote

Statement of Steve Baker, Arlington Democrats Chair (5/5/2022):

"On May 3rd, one of two candidates withdrew from the School Board Endorsement Vote process. Pursuant to the School Board Caucus rules adopted by the County Committee on April 6th, the School Board Endorsement Vote is canceled because only one candidate remains and the remaining candidate, Bethany Zecher Sutton, is considered as proposed for the County Committee endorsement for School Board.  The County Committee will determine in June whether to officially endorse by voting on whether the proposed candidate effectively represents the principles of the Democratic Party."
